Apple may be preparing some meaningful upgrades for its next slim smartphone, as new leaks suggest that the iPhone Air 2 could address two of the biggest concerns from the original model — battery life and camera performance.
While the first iPhone Air impressed users with decent battery endurance despite its ultra-thin design, many buyers still felt that longevity could have been better. Another commonly raised concern was the single-camera setup, which felt limiting compared to similarly priced smartphones offering multiple lenses.
According to recent industry chatter, Apple appears to be taking this feedback seriously. Reports from late last year indicated that the next-generation iPhone Air may introduce a second rear camera, potentially an ultra-wide sensor. This would significantly improve photography versatility and bring the device closer to Apple’s other premium iPhone models.
